The release shape

One installation, owned by the learner.

Virgil pairs a browser extension with a service controlled by each installation.

01Run the Virgil serviceThe service owns the learner pages, their board, and the background work for that installation.
02Connect Google sign-inGoogle handles the credential. Virgil receives the account identity and no password.
03Add the browser extensionThe extension saves passages, opens Quick takes, and keeps the compact lesson beside the page being read.
04Choose model connectionsQuick, Deep, and Image work each have an assigned connection. Failure stops the assigned job.

Before public release

The product works. The release path is being tested.

A developer can assemble the current system. Public release requires a supported setup and recovery path.

Working product
The learner flow runs in a real browser.

Sign-in, reviewed intake, one next move, learning outcomes, visible adaptation, and the main product rooms have been exercised together.

Google Cloud live
Background processing runs in Google Cloud.

The ordered background stages have composed and verified a session without relying on a laptop.

Final checks
A repeatable installation and first-run path.

Configuration, identity ownership, service packaging, extension setup, connection checks, and recovery must work as one supported route. Repository instructions are not enough.

Public release
The first external installation is the final release gate.

The supported package will be published here on 1 September 2026 once that complete installation passes.
