One loop, three moments
What you save, ask and complete changes what Virgil recommends next. A passing question can become a lesson when there is a reason to return to it.
Select a passage or whole page. Virgil confirms exactly what arrived and can open a lesson from that selection immediately.
Ask for a short explanation while the question is fresh. Mark it understood or add it to your lessons. That choice changes what Virgil can bring back later.
Virgil brings back one action for the time you have, shaped by what you saved and what you already understood.
One thing to start
Read-later tools still open on a list of everything you have not read. Virgil opens on one recommendation for the time you have, with the reason it was chosen.
You have done 5 of 25 minutes. Continue for five; opening the material alone will not count as progress.
Continue for 5 minutesWhy this? It belongs to an active course, you have already started it, and the next five-minute block can be completed now.
The result changes the plan
Insights keeps Virgil's read separate from your words. Correct its read and the next lesson uses your correction. The old assumption no longer shapes the plan.
Sample content. In the working product, Virgil labels who wrote each statement and uses learner corrections in the next lesson.
Source limits
Virgil uses only what the source can support. When a physical source cannot justify detailed instruction, the lesson asks for a safe observation instead.
Drumming techniqueA page can describe an American grip. It cannot justify invented angles, equipment, timings, or body positions.
Use the captured setup. Observe the rebound. The lesson uses the captured source and asks for an observation. It does not invent a technique.
In tested runs, Virgil withheld physical instructions that the source could not support. If the check is unavailable, Virgil reports that instead of treating the lesson as cleared.
No check means no clearance.
Product commitments
You can see what Virgil inferred, correct or remove it, and inspect the sources and check status behind every lesson.
Virgil labels its conclusions as my read and your corrections as your words. You can correct or remove either without losing the distinction.
Your installation runs its own service and Google sign-in. Backups contain your learning record, not your credentials.
Sources stay attached and check status stays visible. If a check is unavailable, Virgil shows unavailable, never passed.
Current build · 26 August 2026
Virgil already captures what you want to learn, turns it into a lesson, checks your work, and changes what comes next. The remaining work is making that experience simple and reliable for a new person to install.
